I decided to research this product a little further, so i went to google and typed "Dropshipping Wholesalers scam". The results made me steer clear of this one.

It seems there were many people who paid the Dropshipping Wholesalers membership price and were very disappointed with the outcome. I can't say I was surprised with the results. I expected this to be a scam. After all, how can a company make money if they are selling some of their products for more than 80% of the retail value. They can't. Also, looking at the site all it really gives you is the lower prices, no direction after that. The rest is up to you, which is where the problem comes in with most of these work at home programs.

So I continued to search for work at home programs and found scam after scam. Finally I stumbled across one that didn't have any negative reviews called My Online Income System. eBay Bad Guys - Not All eBayers Wear White Hats!

You will have heard a lot about online fraud, it is the classic case of the difference between perceived risk and actual risk.Fraud does take place on eBay but we have to get things in proportion. It constitutes a tiny percentage of the total transactions carried out each day but, of course, if you are the victim you won't be caring about percentages!

An analysis of deals that have gone wrong usually reveals that someone didn't follow the safe path but took a short cut or risk. A common example of this is where the buyer sends a cheque and the seller delivers the goods before the cheque is cleared and guess what ! Remember if eBay or PayPal ( owned by eBay ) does not say something has happened - it hasn't happened.

Normally someone buys your item, you invoice them, they pay, PayPal tells you when they have the money, you send off the goods and you then, at some point, draw down the money into your bank account.

Occasionally the bad guys do their thing!

Let me give you the details of something that actually happened to me recently. I sold an item recently to a 'gentleman' and received an email, which appeared to be from PayPal, telling me that payment had been received and gave me an address to ship the goods to.

My item had been receiving bids in $2 increments and the winners last bid was $40!

His final bid made me suspicious so I checked his feedback score - only two entries, both negative!

I immediately checked my eBay account to find there was no record of payment having ever been received. The phoney PayPal email really looked the part - it even clicked through to the PayPal website!

If you are just starting out on eBay you may be better off selling only to customers within your country. There is nothing wrong with selling overseas, indeed you should think globally, it's just that sorting out problems when the sold item is thousands of miles away can be problematic. Become familiar with eBay trading by concentrating on your home market then take on the world!

You should dispatch the goods immediately your eBay/PayPal account tells you payment has been received - but only when they tell you. If someone asks if they can pay by cheque tell them 'fine' but that they will have to wait until the cheque is cleared before you can get the stuff off to them.

If you trawl the web for long enough you will find someone somewhere that will have something bad to say about PayPal. I and everyone in the business I know have found that PayPal offer a first class,simple to use and reliable service.

Sorry to repeat myself but if PayPal/eBay say you haven't been paid YOU HAVEN'T BEEN PAID!

You must not let the threat of the actions of stupid or fraudulent people put you off making money by working online, obey the rules and you will find that it's quite safe out there!

Selling is about giving people what they want - not what they need. Many people 'need' a book telling them how to improve their mental arithmetic, what they 'want' is some way to download music more cheaply. If you go the route of advising people what they 'need' then telling them that you have the perfect product, or service, to satisfy that 'need', you will fail.

Never start with the product, start by finding out what people want then find a product that fits the bill. Lots of people want whiter teeth - on eBay you will have no problem finding products that will give you a 'Hollywood' smile.

Apart from just keeping your eyes and ears open these are great ways to find out what's in demand:

TV, radio, newspapers, magazines ( especially the ads ), school kids, students and , of course, the greatest research tool of all time, the internet and particularly eBay. The eBay sites of other countries can be a gold mine when it comes to finding products that may sell on your home site. I've found that the best situation is to find something that is 'similar' to an item on your home site but different enough to spark a lot of interest. The prices that the 'existing' items are selling for will give you an indication of what you might expect to get for your 'new' product.

HOW ? - this is the best bit,

Go into one of their listings and copy their ID, click on 'advanced search' at the top of the page, click on 'items by seller' at the left, paste the ID into the space provided, tick the box 'include completed listings' and click 'search'. On this page click on 'View Sellers Items' on the right of the screen.

Now you know what they have sold over a given period of time, how many of them they have sold and what they got for them ! If you click on the item number to the left it will take you to the original listing.

Has this level of free global information about any market ever been available before ?

Astonishing, isn't it ?

Armed with this knowledge you can now go about buying a small number of the item you have decide to sell from either a wholesaler or even approach the seller ( if it's not on your own countries site ) to test if it will work.

I will never, usually, buy anything for more than half what I know I can sell it for, with the possible exception of when I am in the research stage. Better to make no money or even loose a little trying out a new line than buy a large quantity only to find that it just isn't a viable product.

1. A vintage postcard I sold the other day for £102 (about $200) had more than ten people bidding against one another. One unsuccessful bidder asked for a copy of the card and offered to pay £20 (about $40). Because this person had bought something already on the day, I sent a free JPEG file of the view on CD. But I also offered that JPEG to other unsuccessful bidders, via a Buy It Now listing, lasting 3 days, and sold 5 copies at a fiver apiece! So there's the idea: don't think only original items are worth selling, or worth buying for that matter, because many people are quite happy with copies, as long as you're willing to provide them.

Besides, eBay makes it so much easier to get exactly the shirt you want immediately. So now that you're serious about finding that authentic New Kids on the Block tee you've always wanted (seriously?), we've compiled an informative little lesson to help you along the way.

PASS THE SEARCH BAR EXAM

Use the search bar to find your item and go with the most basic search terms possible, such as "vintage New Kids shirt." If that initial search brings in too many results, you can narrow your focus by adding words like "NKOTB," "concert," or other related words.

Sometimes shirts are described in different ways. For example, a Led Zeppelin shirt could be listed as "vintage Zeppelin jersey" and wouldn't appear in your search results if you entered "vintage Zeppelin shirt " Go ahead - and enter each one of those queries and you'll see how they fetch different results. It's not a good idea to "eyeball" your size, since each t-shirt seller has a slightly different method of determining sizes. To make it more confusing, in general, a vintage large is a medium by today's standards. In other words, always compare chest and length measurements to ensure the item will fit. Most sellers won't accept returns due to sizing issues. And if they do, you'll most likely lose out on the shipping fees and wasted time.

Understand that you are purchasing a vintage shirt which has been worn to different degrees. That is, unless the item is listed as "new old stock" (NOS) or "deadstock." If the shirt is NOS, it has not been washed, so factor in slight fabric shrinkage when measuring. New old stock usually exists as a result of a retailer who stored away the clothing decades ago because it wasn't selling. However, also be aware that some counterfeiters are claiming their repros are new old stock to justify being in mint shape. In this case be extra cautious in making sure it's a true vintage brand. When you receive the shirt make sure its the exact brand pictured in the auction as some sellers are pulling the ol' switch-a-roo.

Always check the sellers past auctions to find out if they keep listing the same questionable items over and over. This can be done by selecting "list" on the right hand side of the specific sellers auction page where it reads, "View Sellers Other Items". After it fetches their current inventory - along the left hand side within the yellow "Search Options" area check mark, "completed items" then click, "show items".

Also get to know your favorite seller's grading terms. View several of their items and take note of how products are listed using different descriptions, such as, "mint," "excellent," "good" or "poor." In the same way sizing can vary, some vendors have their own grading system.

SAY NO TO REPRO

Reading this guide is an essential step in learning to "say no to repro." Making sure your item is genuine is tricky sometimes, since listings can be misleading.

The recent surge of counterfeit vintage shirts on eBay breaks our hearts. Some of these operations sell very convincing fakes (we're actually amazed) as well as genuine pieces. Look for sharp close-ups of copyright printing and date subscripts. Consider the actual look of the printing, as many reproductions use just one color. Also inspect the quality of the printing - watch for inaccurately sized, wrongly placed, poorly coloured or pixelized prints.

If you understand the screen printing process you'll spot the knock-offs more easily. Screen-printed items are made in stages, with each colour printed separately. So when a shirt has a 5-colour design, it's passed under 5 different screens to add the appropriate colour to the specific locations on the fabric. Think of it like a jig-saw puzzle, where each colour is a separate piece, and when put together, makes up the total design.

What does this analogy tell us about identifying fakes? First off, most counterfeiters don't have the original image to work with, so they scan a copy of it. 5. Sell For Others
Now that you're on your way to being an eBay pro, you can offer your services to others. In fact, you won't even have to offer. I guarantee, once your friends and family finds out what you're doing, they'll be begging you to sell their items on eBay.

There are three types of feedback: positive (+1), neutral (0), and negative (-1). Your feedback rating is the number of positive feedback you have received expressed as a percentage of your total feedback.
It should be obvious by now that as an eBay seller you should be aiming for a perfect feedback rating (100%). There are millions of sellers in eBay and the only way for potential customers to tell which seller to pick is from their feedback. I can't underscore the importance of feedback rating more as it is really the cornerstone of your business.
There are a few things you can do to build up your feedback rating, especially when you have just started.
1. Be a buyer.Remember when I said that you get feedback rating regardless of whether you are a seller or buyer? Use this to your advantage. When you are new to eBay, the only way for you to quickly build your feedback rating is by becoming a buyer. EBay does not distinguish between buyer and seller feedback. Try to be clever by buying things that you can resell later or that your business can use so you don't waste your money.
2. Provide excellent customer support.It's of vital importance that you treat your existing and potential customers with respect. Always answer their questions promptly and courteously. You should also provide a clear description of your items in the listings, and make sure that the photos are realistic and reflect the actual condition of the items.
3. Always include a money-back guarantee.This is a prime rule that you should never ever neglect. Don't ever say that buyers can't return the items because this will turn them away to other sellers who provide money-back guarantee. Always write clearly in your listings that buyers can return the items they bought within a certain time period, no question asked. It is unlikely that you will get lots of returned items. The increased credibility and trust that you get is certainly worth the hassle of handling returned items.
In the unfortunate circumstances that you do get a negative feedback, deal with it calmly. Always remain courteous when contacting the buyer. Ask if you can do anything to remedy the problem. Offer a refund if this would help solve the problem. Do whatever is in your power to persuade the buyer to retract the negative feedback.

eBay is the internet's byword for on-line auctions. But good as it is, it still relies on the seller accurately describing their item in the eBay system. In fact, many of these misspelled items will never be sold as the standard eBay searches simply won't find them. If you're clever, and use the correct tools then you can find these misspelled items and buy them for a song.
If you can buy the items cheaply then with a little care and good planning on your part you can sell then later at a profit. I use this methodology for two of my own business models and I make very good profits on them. The first of these business models is to buy computer components cheaply to upgrade my own systems for re-sale on eBay and to upgrade friends' and clients' systems for a profit.
The second business model is a little more complicated, but far more profitable. My wife currently lives in Senegal, West Africa where mobile phones, especially camera phones are at a premium. Basically I buy decent mobile phones on eBay for about £15-25 ($30-50) and sell them in Senegal for 50000-60000 FCFA ($100-120) which, even with transport costs, means that I make a minimum of a 40% profit. Now, I have contacts in West Africa which makes this business model easier for me. However, I'm certain that with a little thought and ingenuity you can come up with your own business model. After all there are misspelled items in every category of eBay.
Maybe your thing is art, or collectibles or comic books. Whatever you know about and can sell for a profit. Indeed, I make even more profit that the basic 40% markup by having my wife buy sarongs in Senegal which can be sold on an eBay store for a 4x mark-up. Basically my wife buys them for $30 and I sell them for $120. Which means that throughout the whole process I'm making a very decent profit on the whole deal.
In the end making money from a basic premise that people make mistakes whilst selling their items on eBay is just a case of being inventive and not letting your first few setbacks drain your hope. All I can tell you is that there's money to be made from other peoples' mistakes, as long as you're willing to be inventive about the whole process.
